Lyrics

It was not too long ago I'd found love
Then it slipped away
Though heart broken
I vowed not to give up on love
Eventually it found me again
I was truly happy
I'd experienced the most amazing feelings and moments of my life up to this point
I wanted to hold on to all of these emotions forever and ever

But, one day everything I knew would suddenly change
I felt the power from something I'd never experienced before
Utter remorseless betrayal
I felt as if a black hole opened where my heart once beat with so much joy
In its place now an empty void
Sadness set in first
How could a bond between two people so in love come to this
Then came the anger and with it hatred set in to fill the void once held by love

No matter what I did this hatred would not leave me alone
It spread through me like a virus
A parasitic entity that was dead set on fully consuming every part of my being
and eventually my soul
Then the voice of revenge began to echo through my mind over and over,
again and again
Reclaim what is yours
It repeated endlessly
It couldn't be silenced
No matter what I did
I was infected with hatred
Haunted by revenge
And staring back at me in the mirror
A woman I no longer knew

You used me like a whore
Got all you needed from me and then sent me on my way
So I only ask one thing of you now
Send me to Hell
Send me to Hell

I will stand before Satan himself
Offer my flesh to him for his most sinister desires
I will be that whore you treated me like
All I want is the power to claim back what is mine
My heart is bound
My flesh is bound
My soul now bound as well

I am coming for you
But not like I used to
We are going to Hell together
After all, this isn't love
This is
The Binding

I welcome you all
